Day 1: Hiroshima – Arrival and Rest
- Morning: Pick up at Hiroshima or Osaka airport, transfer to hotel by private car.
- Afternoon: Visit Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, Atomic Bomb Dome (Genbaku Dome), and Peace Memorial Museum to learn about world peace history.
- Evening: Dinner and overnight stay in Hiroshima.
Day 2: Hiroshima – Miyajima – Itsukushima Shrine
- Morning: Ferry to Miyajima Island, visit the famous Itsukushima Shrine with its iconic “floating” red torii gate.
- Afternoon: Explore Miyajima Island, visit temples and shrines, enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and natural scenery.
- Evening: Return to Hiroshima, overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Hiroshima – Onomichi – Start Shimanami Kaido Cycling Journey
- Morning: Travel to Onomichi, a charming and peaceful town, and start cycling on the Shimanami Kaido route connecting small islands across the Seto Inland Sea.
- Afternoon: Cycle over beautiful suspension bridges, stop at fishing villages, and enjoy fresh seafood.
- Evening: Overnight at a ryokan or hotel by the sea along Shimanami Kaido.
Day 4: Shimanami Kaido Cycling Journey (Continued)
- Morning – Afternoon: Continue cycling to explore small islands, camp by the seaside, admire the blue ocean, and immerse yourself in nature.
- Evening: Overnight at a hotel or ryokan on the final island of the route.
Day 5: Shimanami Kaido – Matsuyama (Matsuyama Castle & Dogo Onsen)
- Morning: Travel to Matsuyama, visit Matsuyama Castle – one of Japan’s oldest castles.
- Afternoon: Relax at the traditional hot spring Dogo Onsen, famous for its long history.
- Evening: Overnight in Matsuyama.
Day 6: Matsuyama – Takamatsu (Ritsurin Garden)
- Morning: Travel to Takamatsu, visit Ritsurin Garden – a traditional Japanese garden known for its ponds, trees, and refined architecture.
- Afternoon: Free time to explore Takamatsu or visit local attractions.
- Evening: Overnight in Takamatsu.
Day 7: Takamatsu – Kagawa (Naoshima Art Museum)
- Morning: Travel to Naoshima Island – a renowned contemporary art destination with museums and outdoor art installations.
- Afternoon: Visit art museums, enjoy creative spaces, and blend with the island’s natural environment.
- Evening: Overnight on the island or return to Takamatsu.
Day 8: Takamatsu – Tokushima (Iya Valley)
- Morning: Travel to Iya Valley, one of Japan’s most pristine and spectacular valleys.
- Afternoon: Explore Kazurabashi vine bridge, walk nature trails, and enjoy fresh air.
- Evening: Overnight at a traditional ryokan in Iya, savor local cuisine.
Day 9: Tokushima – Kochi (Pacific Coast & Local Market)
- Morning: Travel to Kochi, visit the Pacific coastline with beautiful, peaceful scenery.
- Afternoon: Explore local markets, taste fresh seafood and regional specialties of Shikoku.
- Evening: Overnight in Kochi.
Day 10: Kochi – Hiroshima/Osaka – End of Tour
- Morning: Depart for Hiroshima or Osaka by private car.
- Afternoon: Free time for shopping, rest, or city sightseeing.
- Evening: Overnight or prepare to transfer to the airport to conclude the tour.
REGISTRATION & PAYMENT PROCEDURE:
- Pay 50% of the total tour price immediately after booking confirmation.
- Pay the remaining 50% at least 30 days before departure.
TOUR CANCELLATION POLICY:
- Cancel after deposit payment: 10% penalty of the tour price (no penalty if replaced by another person).
- Cancel 30 days before departure: 30% penalty of the tour price.
- Cancel 15 days before departure: 100% penalty of the tour price.
- In case of natural disasters or epidemics, if no official Japanese entry ban is issued, the above penalties still apply.
Note: If you cancel but have a replacement guest, the deposit will not be forfeited.
OTHER NOTES:
- Time calculation excludes holidays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
- If you have family or friends residing locally who wish to join the program, please contact the company before departure.
- Guests are kindly requested not to skip designated shopping stops in the itinerary.
- Throughout the trip, guests must be punctual at meeting points to ensure the program runs on schedule.
THE TOUR COMPANY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Natural disasters such as storms, floods, droughts, earthquakes…
- Security incidents such as terrorism, protests…
- Medical issues including epidemics or guests’ personal health conditions.
- Airline issues including technical problems, security, delays, or cancellations.
- Denial of entry at the destination country.
